MTB GmbH – digital, fair and family-oriented

Mayk Taherian founds MTB GmbH with two employees, one wheel loader and one road-rail excavator. Thanks to extensive industry experience, the company is prequalified as a general contractor for Deutsche Bahn AG from the outset.

MTB GmbH embraces digitalisation across the entire company. We introduce the DocuWare document management system and the JobRouter workflow software throughout our operations. Our construction sites also go paperless, with tablets provided to all site supervisors.

We develop transport infrastructure made from glass-fibre-reinforced plastic, offering an environmentally friendly, resource-efficient, energy-efficient and recyclable solution. One year later, the project is spun off into the newly established RSC Railway Solutions in Composite GmbH.

We acquire the company premises in Barnten, Nordstemmen, providing space for offices, warehouses and production facilities. Armin and Silas Taherian also officially commit to joining the family business as the next generation.

We acquire additional land in Barnten to expand our company headquarters.

The ground-breaking ceremony marks the start of construction on our new company headquarters. We also introduce the digital BauMobil workstation for all employees.

We pack up our boxes and move into the new building. With the aim of becoming fully digital, we begin developing JobRouter 2.0, an integrated system covering all internal processes.

To mark our tenth anniversary, a striking sculpture by Swiss artist Hugo Schaer is installed on the company premises.

The Nexxt-Talents Foundation is officially launched to support disadvantaged children and young people. In the same year, we acquire three neighbouring plots of land and grow to more than 55 employees across administration and construction operations.

Through the full acquisition of another company, we continue our strategic growth and expand our range of services to include building construction. At the same time, our team grows to around 70 employees. We also modernise our vehicle fleet by adding three new limited-edition models from Mercedes-Benz Trucks.

We are planning the groundbreaking ceremony for our second office complex and envision an MTB park with green recreational areas and a pond.
